I started Nordic walking in Autumn 2012 and have recently trained with Nordic Walking UK as a Community Walk Leader (November 2015).
I thoroughly enjoy Nordic walking. It’s great to be outdoors in all weathers. It’s a sociable way to exercise, but with the flexibility to enable an individual to work at their own level to achieve fitness targets.
For me, the best aspect of Nordic walking is that all year round I’m enjoying walking in our local countryside in the company of like-minded individuals. All to the benefit of our health and wellbeing.
